When I first saw a commercial for this show, I was SO convinced it would be just another bad comedy CN show like Uncle Grandpa and Teen Titans Go. (Seriously, CN needs to stop making those) I didn't think I could ever picture myself watching it, and from what I hear the advertising for it in general sucks. But then I heard people were praising it up the wazoo, but I still wasn't convinced. THEN one of my favorite internet critics, The Cartoon Hero, did a review on it and was praising it. That prompted me to check it out.

Suffice to say, I was not only pleasantly surprised, but blown away. The animation is beautiful! The characters are three-dimensional and great! The story is great and it isn't afraid to go dark! Where has this show been all my life?! I've seen up to episodes 25 and 26, where they introduced Lapis Lazuli. Any fans here?! Because I've converted into an SU fan!
