Hello, Tokunation! As some of you know, I had posted a forum some time ago for help with an idea for the 40th Super Sentai. With some help, I finally have a clear idea of it: Name, plot, characters, arsenal, mecha, etc. Course, unlike previous ones, more people wanted to see extra Rangers along side the usual 6 in an anniversary. I also want to thank fellow user, GreenPsychoRanger, for helping me develop my ideas.
Kihei Sentai Gunmanger
(騎兵戦隊ガンマンイジャーCavalry Squadron Gunmanger)
Plot
: For 39 years, the Super Sentai of Earth have protected it's people from those who seek to take it over! Now, a space outlaw arrives to take over and a new team arrives to stop him! They are Kihei Sentai Gunmanger!
Characters
Sheriff "Slim"
: Gunman Red. The leader. Strong willed, has a great sense of justice, hot headed, never backs down, never fights dirty. Sometimes speaks in Wild West euphemisms like "Yellow-bellied skunk" or "Varmint" and the like. He also has a tendency to refer to the others by a nickname, much to their annoyance. Is often seen holding a pocket watch with a picture of his deceased brother inside. Real name unknown.
Kai "Big Blue" Nabe
: Gunman Blue. Quiet, reserved, has a no-nonsense attitude, tends to be a bit of a lone wolf, and loves to pistol twirl and shoot things. However, he does have a soft spot for animals, especially horses. Has a friendly rivalry with Slim and Emmy.
Emi "Boygirl" Akiyama
: Gunman Yellow. Tomboyish, isn't afraid to play rough and get down and dirty, is a master trickster, and plays a mean hand of poker. While she is rough, she has zero tolerance for liars and cheaters. Known only to Pink, she has a strong attraction to Blue.
Daisuke "Clumsy" Kimura
: Gunman Green. The youngest along with Pink, but is certainly not the weakest. While he uses his guns and saber to fight, he normally likes to fist fight the monsters, in a way to show he isn't someone to mess with. Still, his usual antics of trying to prove himself often make him the butt of the joke in the group.
Suzy "Can-Can" Suzuki
: Gunman Pink The youngest along with Green. An ex-Saloon dancer who joins the Gunmenger to get away from her old life. Girly, sassy, and obsessed with fine clothes and jewels, but she is the most inexperienced, and is often the damsel in distress. However, whenever she looks deep inside of herself, she usually finds the strength to fight back.
Ringo "McIntosh" Akagi
: Gunman Silver. An fan of steampunk, Super Sentai, and anything with apples in it. Whenever he is not fighting, he can be seen reading Victorian novels, cosplaying in Steampunk attire, and gushing over the pure awesomeness of Sentai. However, when he is fighting, he becomes totally different: He becomes confident, heroic, serious, and never quits until it's all over.
Deputy "Black Jack"
: Gunman Black. Red's brother, and exactly like him, only much wiser and level headed. Prior to turning evil, he and Red were bounty hunters who use to bring in criminals and collect the reward. However, when they tried to capture the main villain of the story, a shootout leads to Black block his brother from a barrage of bullets. Left for dead, he comes back as a general for the villain, controlled by the influence that his brother caused his death, and therefore wants him dead.
Kin "Doc" Hachimitsu
: Gunman Gold. The 5th generation of prospectors, he believes an old legend that an gold treasure of gold is hidden somewhere in a Japanese forest, though which remains a mystery. While often called kooky and weird, he holds his own in battle quite well, aside from his constant gushing over the site of a Gold Ranger, excluding himself.
Sage
: Gunman Brown. A wise old humanoid-bird creature. He is the mentor of the team, often giving them wise advice and hints as to where to find the next Greater Power and mecha they need to win. When he transforms, he becomes a ferocious, blood thirsty fighter, often ululating much like a Native American warrior.
Ami "Milkmaid" Byaku-Kleinpeter
: Gunman White. A Japanese-American whose ancestor was a milkmaid who moved to Japan and married a Japanese man. As such, she herself has become the CEO of one of the largest milk manufacturers in Japan, started by her ancestors. She is very old fashioned and only fights whenever it is completely necessary.
Villains
Kido Billy
: An intergalactic outlaw, infamous for stealing the wealth of a planet and then destroying it.
Jeshijemuzu
: 2nd in Command of Kido's Gang. Bloodthirsty, rude, and persuasive.
Bonikuraido
: A 2-faced man and woman and member of Kido's Gang. The male side is trigger-happy, yet honorable. The female side is whiny, high-maintenance, and seductive.
Butch Kyashidi
: Part of a 2 man group of spies in Kido's Gang. A master of disguise who can walk among humans, knowing their secrets. A cold, calculating character known for his stunning intellect.
Ute
: Part of a 2 man group of spies in Kido's Gang. Known for changing himself to the size a fly and acting as a fly on the wall. A bumbling, dim fool who often annoys Kido's Gang.
Henshin Devices
Duplicating Cellphone Sheriphone
: Similar to the Mobirate in Gokaiger, it would have a sheriff star in the middle of the top part, where the coin would be placed to transform into the main team and create the Sentai copies.
Steampunk Changer
: Gunman Silver's Henshin Device. It is a handheld, steampunk inspired morpher which has a coin slot inside, which allows him to either change or summon Sentai copy.
Gold Digger
: Gunman Gold's Henshin Device. It is similar to GekiViolet's GongChanger, only with a rock instead of a gong and a pickax instead of a bell ringer.
TomaHawken
: Gunman Brown's Henshin Device. It is designed to resemble a Hawk, and also doubles as his main weapon.
Arsenal
Ranger Coins
: Similar to the Ranger Keys in Gokaiger, they are gold coins that have the helmet of a respective Ranger on them. Each Coin is summoned by pressing the Sheriff star on the left breast of each members outfit.
Coin Bagger
: The Money Bag that carries the Ranger coins. It haves a Super Sentai logo on the side rather than a Dollar Sign.
Weapons
Gunman Saber
: A Confederate inspired sword.
Gunman Pistol
: Twin pistols used by the Gunman, more so by Blue than the others.
Gunman Lasso
: A lasso which is the same color as its owner.
Colt Blades
: A sword used by Red.
Vulturifle
: A rifle used by Blue.
Coyote Daggers
: Twin daggers used by Yellow.
Buffalo Ball
: A ball n’ chain used by Green.
Runnerrow
: A bow and arrow used by Pink.
Gatling-Gunman
: A Gatling gun weapon made up of the teams weapons. The Buffalo Ball’s chain retracts into the ball and turns the shackle end into a rod, which is then inserted into the Vulturifle’s barrel. Then, the Runnerrow splits into two, and attaches to two indentions in the Ball, with the split ends revealing a barrel. Then, the Coyote Daggers attach in the same manner, with the handles facing outward. This allows the ball to rotate and each barrel end to fire 40 each of a different color bullet. The blade shooting red bullets, the dagger shooting blue and yellow bullets, and the arrow shooting green and pink bullets.
Black Whip
: A whip used by Black.
Gunman Steamusket
: A shotgun/double ax/sword used by Silver.
Golden Pickax
: A pickax/gun/sword used by Gold.
Toma Hawken
: A mechanical hawk used by Brown that can be a crossbow and split into 2 tomahawks.
Milk Maidaggers
: A daggers used by White.
Gunman Cannon
: A cannon similar to a Confederate Cannon. It is charged similar to the Ole Bazooka, only with a coin slot that holds 5 Ranger coins to charge an attack.
Bronco Cycles
: Individual motorcycles of the 10 Gunmen, each being the color of their respective Ranger.
Enhancement Modes
Desperado Mode
: An enhancement mode for the primary Gunmen, which gives them a duster jacket that is their respective color and a shotgun-type weapon called the Gunman Shot. Activated with a Ranger Coin with the word "Super" on it.
Golden Star
: An enhancement mode for Gunman Silver, which is a giant Six-point Sheriff Star. The points of the star detach and become a pair of shin guards, arm guards, and shoulder pads, and then the center becomes a chestplate. Activated with a Ranger Coin with the number 20 on it, to symbolize Silver being the 20th Sixth Ranger.

50. Revived Extra Heroes and Bangai Hero/Revived Monsters/All Sentai Team Up/240 Gunfight
Note: The 240 part would be the number of Sentai up to this point. Since Gokai Silver is said to be number 200 (and Ninjaman was never in the 199 Great Hero War), that would mean when Go-Busters, Kyoryuger, ToQger, and Ninninger are counted, it would bring the number to 227 (if Deathryuger and ToQ7 aren't counted), and then adding the 10 Gunmenger, would be 237. Course, I've yet to pick the other three. Probably DekaBright and DekaGold and possibly VRV Master. Or VRV with the prototype Sixth: Magne Warrior and X1 Mask. Might go with the first three, though. Thus bringing the number to 240, to help symbolize the 40th Sentai.
Well, that's it. Also, I say this in the nicest way I can: This isn't a post about a new motif anyone wants to see this. This is a prediction/fan creation of what might become the 40th anniversary. Between Kyoryuger's Wild West zord, ToQger's Sixth Ranger's monster form looking like a harmonica playing cowboy, and Ninninger's Cowboy Ninja with a Cheeseburger cellphone morpher and a shotgun/sword/electric guitar (God, there's a combination of words I never thought I'd say), if the 40th isn't Cowboy or Wild West themed, I'd honestly be surprised, since Sentai will usually tease their anniversary season with something in the seasons prior. Though, I will put up a post asking if anyone things that the 40th may be a Cowboy theme.
So, what do you all think? Any comments, critiques, and concerns are greatly appreciated.
