I'm not too crazy about Zordon being a ranger. I do like the idea of a origin story between him and Rita. I do hope that they find Rita on a different planet instead of the Moon. Rita on the Moon in MMPR never made sense to me because they find Rita on the Moon where there is sand and a blue surface sky. Then you see other scenes of the Moon in MMPR where it looks like the Moon in our world. Even as a young kid in the mid 90's, I found that confusing.

I would do something similar to Zyuranger where they do a news report of a mysterious Planet enters Earth's orbit. A group of NASA astronauts exploring the mysterious planet accidentally released Rita and her minions from their prison. I don't mind changes to the source material if they are done right. I think the new movie could change the major flaws that the original TV show had. Better character development for Rita would be nice too.
