Square-Enix, not Sony. Sony gave them a big bag of money to get the annoucement on their own conference and a temporary exclusivity.

And directed by Nomura...pfffmmmwhahaha, this guy is a good designer but not a competent director for a major project. Honestly, after he's been taken out of charge of FF15 I thought that was a punishment, but no, they just promote him on their biggest project ever instead.

How naive Powerman293 Well, given all the "good" job he has done when in charge of FF15, that means for the FF7 remake an expected release for 2023, play it first on Playstation 5.
