GARO Honoo No Kokuin Episode 2: Alright this was a much better episode than the first one but still not quite there yet honestly. I like Leon he's pretty cool but we haven't learned much about him except that he can't control his powers and that he loves his mother enough to beat up his father for being a huge flirt. German is really fun but you can have some self-control around women here especially around your son. Alfonso I am really liking because of his kind and noble heart. I hate the jackass who arrested Alfonso's mother and manipulating the kingdom. I feel that I might need to find new subs because man do I hate them calling Makai Priests, Makai Alchemists unless they are different than Makai Priests but I am pretty much hearing the same Japanese word I remember in GARO when they say Makai Alchemist. Emma was pretty cool, but all female Makai Priests are pretty much awesome. I am hoping it picks up more because this feels more Anime-ish than GARO and that's the most difficult part right now. The fights are pretty kick ass right now and I love the animated armors so I can continue on as long as it improves each episode.

GARO Honoo No Kokuin Episode 3: Alright this was the best episode so far. Mainly because it focused on German, Leon, and Emma. Also the introduction of Zaruba helps a lot because he is the key that connects all the GARO series. I like Leon a lot more in this episode because you can tell that he has a fiery temper, he's naive, he's very skilled, and he very much cares about his legacy and I like that a lot about him. German was great too I enjoyed him looking out for his son and getting Zaruba fixed for him because he knew it would help Leon. Emma was kick ass and helped stop the jackass who stole Zaruba. Alfonso and the Purple Makai Knight is very intriguing, and I always like more new Makai Knights who have special armors. Well I reached the point where now I can't wait for more which is good because I was worried about this anime.

GARO Honoo No Kokuin Episode 4: I swear I've seen the evil town plot in plenty of other shows before but it was good here too. The main thing I liked was that Leon got over his need for revenge for seeing it in the little kid here and telling him that it's not right to live that way. So that was much needed character development for Leon and also I liked him acknowledging that even though is Dad is a bit crass he wouldn't lie. I can't wait to see the new Makai Knight and Alfonso next episode that looks interesting. These villagers were assholes they are lucky that Leon takes down horrors or they would have issues. Well I can't wait for more.

GARO Honoo No Kokuin Episode 5: Ah interesting to see Leon enter the timeless void and see his Grandfather like the other GAROs have seen the others. Well the real story here was with Rafael from earlier. I absolutely love Rafael besides looking like the wrestler the Undertaker; he's badass and turns into the Purple Knight Gaia with giant badass sword. He is also very skilled in real world stuff and that's very intriguing for a Makai Knight. Learning that Alfonso is Leon's Cousin is very interesting too. I loved the scene showcasing the soul metal sword and that Alfonso couldn't lift it; It feels a lot more like GARO now and I am enjoying it a lot. I can't wait for more.
