[Kiwami]

I watched the first episode of Ultraman X and now I remember why I stopped watched Ginga: The gimmicks are just too stupid. I don't know why since it's rarely bothering me in Rider, but the whole thing with the dolls and cards seems awfully cheesy in Ultraman.

Honestly I think this would work much better if they ditch this stuff and have it classy again, just a guy fusing with an Ultra and transforming into Ultraman. But toy-sales is what keeps these shows going, so...

Also I wasn’t too impressed with the actors, especially the younger ones.

Kaiju-wise this was top-notch, I loved the battle at the end and the pose for the Ultra-beam. But that was about the only thing I enjoyed.
