Personally I always thought that if they weren't human, with the exception of rangers, that they were other. Extra rangers were ranger beyond the 6th or weren't part of the actual team but helped when necessary. And sixth is...well duh.


Blue Centurian/Signalman, GoseiKnight, and the such are other. Pretty much anybody in DekaRanger after DekaBreak without a number is an extra. Rio and Melee from Geki are extra. Catching my drift on that part? As for sixth...well those are usually part of the team or actually join the team to a greater extent but may remain individual, such as Magna Defender (I can't remember his Sentai name) and TimeFire.
