[Switchblade]

Okay, so my cheap, anime-indifferent ass finally got to see this on Crunchyroll. I freaking loved it. This feels exactly like a proper Ultraman show - in fact, it reminds me a lot of Max, which is very much a good thing. It's a real pity that this is just a miniseries and not a full show.

The only thing I'm not really feeling is the inclusion of the Spark Dolls, which still look incredibly cheap. X looks amazing, though, and I like that he has a voice and can communicate with Daichi. I'm used to the Ultra either posing as a human or being a mute giant. It's pretty cool to see a third option.
