The last episode I watched was the Nue one where he broke their swords, and the lion dude told them they need to learn how to not rely on their abilities to beat a monster before he will allow the balcksmith to fix them, but the kid went and did it off screen and gave them their repaired weapons 5 minutes later. They didn't have to learn jack ****.
