Answer: No go. That unofficial P.R. movie thing that Saban tried to initially squash was darker than the shows and roundly denounced by most.

New Question: More drama and a more serious take by the characters?

Response: Possible, but it's a stretch.


P.S.: Professor Cog was destroyed in Super Megaforce. They would find some other reason to explain such villains or simply cut them out (It might hinge on whether Saban has the rights to Go-Busters and their characters). Plus, there is no guarantee that Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters WILL ever be adapted, and the odds still don't look favorable at present.
