The animation was alright for the time. his episode had quite a few pacing issues, it just crammed so much into one episode, and I barely know anything about these characters so far, as they all got very little screentime. Also...I don't know...this whole deal seems too good to be true. You get to pilot a Super Robot, you get paid ten times more than the character who's a race car driver, and despite being brought there against your will, you're allowed to go on about your life as normal, except when you get called to battle. I'm rather suspicious of those guys. I mean, the concept of a Super Robot who always helps the losing side of a battle to prevent large scale wars is an interesting one, but aside from that...it didn't really grip me. At least it's only 12 episodes long, so I think I can get through this pretty quickly.
