Blue, blue is the color that fills my eyes. It is bright but has a dark shade to it. To be honest it almost looks transparent at times. At those moments of transparency I can see into where I am. The images before me are always the same; people in white coats, men in suits, women in dress shirts and black skirts. All of them do the same thing that they’ve been assigned to probably. The suits talk, the coats type or work at different stations, and the women take calls and do their own typing. Some of the women are even in the coats. This is what I see, have been seeing.

I cannot hear any of their conversations. I have not since I have found myself in this blue realm. I don’t really remember, or at least, fully remember. Some bits and pieces come back to me. It always seems that the moment I’m about to remember everything I black out. I don’t know why but I do. I’m also constantly feeling tired. When I feel like this I no longer see blue, only white and at one point red, the red slowly turning to green. I feel tired now to be honest. Why?

My body is numbing. I feel my skin crawling, it burning in this sea of blue. I can even feel my eyes flickering and rolling back in the head. I see people jump up. This numbness, I’m drowning. I’m being killed in the sea. I…

…I feel myself regaining consciousness, entering back into the world. My eyes are blurry, but I see I am no longer in the blue. I can hear now too, but everything sounds muffled. The coats are around me shouting in panic. The suits then push everybody away. I look up at them, I no longer hot but cold, freezing cold. My eyes finally adjust, my ears hearing everything crystal clear. The one in front looks at me in fury.

“This one is finally failing. I should have known. Just like the others and his friends.”

The sensation of my eyes widening brings me more alert than I ever have been. My lips begin to curl, snarl, teeth becoming bared. Before me the world changes, I see red, it bursting, exploding, now everything is black. But now it is all green, dark but slowly getting lighter. Everything seems dream like, I simply flowing through the landscape. Soon it all goes black.

Brightness…white…light, I see, I feel these things. That and one other thing: clarity. I remember…I remember it all. I’ll revisit it later…numbness is taking over. And now it is all black again.
