I really like the Over-Time link's name to the raw: "The Decade show feat. Garo" Well, exposition was expected at some point about Zinga and Amiri.

What wasn't expected was indeed that the script needed Ryume go solo, Gald and Daigo being idiots there, that was one peculiar way to handle the mirror's power, the trap she set for Ryuuga will turn against Zinga as the mirror will be obviously broken.
From a story point of view, it would have lacked excitement to kill a chained Amiri, a girls only cat fight with Rian and Ryume is certainly to happen.

My suspension of disbelief was more than hurted in this episode, because my brain kept screaming "None of you make sense, you idiots !" and my suspension of disbelief is already calibrated for tokusatsu stuff, where giant robots are powered by power of imagination and frienship.
