You know, for a minute there I actually thought they were going to pull it off, even with everybody conveniently ignoring Amiri. In the end, though, it was obvious that Ladan was going to awaken and lead to the big final battle. I didn't see Rian getting her soul sucked out, though. That was a surprise.

Speaking of surprises, holy crap the black armor is back. I'm not entirely sure what it is now, but it seems to be more of a power-up than a downgrade (and one I want a Figuart of - with cape - now). And it's obviously a thing Ryuga can turn on and off. Like I said, I don't entirely get what its purpose is, but it looks damn cool.

This was a really good episode.
