Demotivates me, you know? Smash has been getting boring for me in the standard free for all format and that's all my friends play everyday, and this club was kind of an opportunity to escape that and move up in the 1v1 competitive scene, which I find much more fun. Plus, i could have done it with my friends, which would have been great. But now that the club won't work out, that support system of making me grow in skill by playing other people I know face to face is gone (I know there's the 3DS version, but that is very finicky on inputs). I could still go to the tournament, but it's just not the same.

I don't care if you think that reasoning is dumb, I just kinda want to move on to other games. I'll still buy the DLC like the fanboy I am, but it won't be the same.
