The Gaim-thing is incredibly infuriating, since in initial promos of the movie it looked like Gaim would appear as a character in the movie because his Overlord-powers would make him immune against Shockers history correction-machine, and that he would play a key-role in the Rider-resistsance alongside the Liner-crews.

But I guess all of this got dropped when they couldn’t get Gaim's actor back.

We just have to accept that certain characters will lose their focus once their show is over and the toys are sold. It will happen with Drive next year too.
