Thats the question tough of how armored the Tridoron really is. We know that it can be fully destryoed which happens in the Surprise Future movie. Which is why Shinnosuke has to use Super Dead Heat during that movie. The Engine Blade alone is powerful enough to slice through normal cars without Terui having to transform and with the added strength of his Rider form its completely plausible that he could manage to penetrate the Tridorons armor.

And yes it can be controlled remotely but Teruis Bike mode is extremely fast and as bikes usually are much more maneuverable than cars usually are. And answering the question which one is faster we have to consider the "official" specs of both vehicles.

Taking those into account Tridoron has a top speed of 560 km/h and Teruis Bike mode can reach speeds of 920 km/h which would be enough to outrun any of Tridorons attacks.
