I didn't want him to stop voicing those opinions at all. I just tried to fish for something more constructive. I'd like to know where he's coming from. I WANT to understand. But for that to happen, I needed more than just off-the-wall statements without proper support.

Why to people always assume conjuring up any kind of debate is always negative?
