Because so many of them actually have started to? Ask around, you'll find people to back me up. That was actually a complaint when it came out, because people were already getting discolored figures.

And I'm sorry that they didn't impress you, but again, this doesn't make them bad toys. That means that you, personally, do not like them. That is what's known as a subjective standpoint, otherwise known as an "opinion".

On Mach? That's a possibility. Of course you have the option to glue it in, but then you remove his ability to change the Signals. An unfortunate tradeoff, but a necessary one for this scale/price range and one that I'm fine with, considering there are worse options.
