So the three way fighting ends and everyone escapes unharmed. The acid grongi continues her rampage (Meeting a road bump in the taxi system slowing to prevent her from operating, though she does have a backup plan) while the bat goes on to fight the rose.
Godai and Ichigou move in and find not only those two, but the kabuto Grongi as well. Kuuga moves to fight those two while Ichijou finds the rose Grongi, ending with him pointing the rifle right at her.

Neat episode. The scientist and her son subplot is shit and they should not bring it up anymore. It initially seems like an interesting subplot, with her having to figure out how to balance spending time with her son vs doing her job to help the police. However, it's painfully clear that she just doesn't balance at all. She spends all her time at the station. Jean cares more about her son than she does, and it's getting old.
Every time this plot is brought up, it plays like this
Scientist: "Everything is going well!"
Jean/Yusuke: "How's your son?"
Scientist: *Smile fades and she looks away*
Phone: "Emergency!"
*End scene*
Every single time. It's not going to have any worthwhile payoff because we've only ever seen her son once, too.
Seriously. For as often as they bring it up, it goes nowhere, since the scientist never acknowledges she has a fucking family until someone points out that she's being a bitch by not even calling her son to tell him she's gonna be pulling an all nighter at the lab for the 300th time in a row...
