Watched it. Jury's very much out.

This just didn't feel particularly Garo-ish for me or at best, someone trying to "do" Garo, not doing it right and thus ending up with something that feels a little more generic as a result.

And in a minor detail that will bug the shit out of me for the next 20-ish episodes - Raiko's sword is a Katana? I always kinda liked that element of Garo's designs - sword-wielding Knights never seemed to use Katanas. The only exception being Crow.
