I discussed this at length with a friend and we both agreed that a Godzilla-sized gorilla is gonna look utterly stupid. Godzilla works because his design is believable as being a creature that large. He's bottom-heavy with giant legs and small arms and a head with small features. King Kong is just a big gorilla, though, and with arms that big and legs that short proportionally he's gonna look ridiculous swinging that much weight around at that scale.

Unless they're gonna keep Kong "small" and have a David and Goliath senario with Kong using his small size and speed against Godzilla's size and slowness.
