There did seem to be a few of the 80's Home items that seemed roughly appropriate for Figuarts Kuuga (although he's also slightly larger than most Figuarts I own), like the TV and remote control. I confess that I really didn't pay attention to the food scale in those photos, although I should've.
I did look over Hasegawa based on something you'd posted a while ago, although I didn't find any standalone furniture in my initial search. I'll revisit at some point. As it is, I may look more closely at Orcara, since I'm wondering if they generally run a little smaller. I'll let you know if it turns out Baron can actually hold the little half-peeled banana from this set.
(Also, I love so many of your photos!)
Thanks, that really means a lot. I think the thing with the 80s furniture is they were limited to what would fit int he blind boxes which made it a bit more in line with smaller figures. I've found the scale works a little better for Nendoroids because of their cartoonish proportions but the rement stuff seems to work best with licca/blythe/pulips and other dolls in that scale. Basically that stuff thats '1/6' but not really quite 1/6 as they would look too small in something like a Hot Toys. There also seems to be two scales with re-ments. The 8 packs are usually the smaller ones but ones that come in 6 packs around the 1600yen mark are significantly larger and might even be too big for 1/6. I got the gochisou curry collection and each set is gigantic.
I've been meaning to get some of the orcara sets but the ones I want are all sold out on amiami. I like re-ment because they offer licensed sets which I find really neat. I'm a big fan of 3gatsu no lion so I grabbed both of those, and have the grandma and grandpa set along with the kotatsu coming next month.
