I doubt that Toei would encourage animal hunting in a show geared for kids. BUT if we subtly twisted your idea and made the team more like Ash & Co from Pokemon, who collect and have positive relationships with their animals (err--when they're not making them fight for their own amusement, that is), I could see that being a total possibility. (And I actually wonder why that hasn't been the basis of a Sentai team already. Though maybe Gaoranger is already like that? I know very little about it.)
