There are a lot of episodes, especially in the 70s, that involve people being murdered, melted, dissolved, or transformed into exploding flying squirrels. Compare that to something like Wizard, where the monsters' primary mission is to make people sad.


I've heard that Tackle was actually going to be revived if Stronger hadn't been cancelled at 39 episodes. Not sure how accurate that information is, though. It would have been cool since a revived Tackle would probably meant that the character would have shown up more in later team-ups, but it would have also removed a lot of the emotion and power from her death scene (kind of like how Riderman's original self-sacrifice was cheapened when he just showed up again with no explanation).

Yeah I can agree with that. Though the Heisei Era has had gruesome stuff too.

Ah that would have been awesome if she would have came back. I wish it wasn't cancelled though.
