The way I perceived it, Kinji is feeling more and more like he has his own path to go rather than working to become the Last Ninja. My guess is that since he gained his new power by defeating the Youkai within, he wants more to follow in his father and brother's footsteps.

Out of many of the specials and fanservice episodes for Sentai over the last few years, this is up there in the top five for me. Elf Fuuka is my roll for initiative.

I just want to get to the crux of the Kyuemon plot. He just keeps on like the Energizer bunny, and it's getting tiresome. But hey, more special guests coming! Bring on Magi Yellow! It's like the Gilligans Island of Sentai.
