I'm gonna cosplay one of the two character and want to say some of their catchphrases, but I can't quite make out what they're saying.
I'm not the greatest at Japanese, so forgive me if I get anything wrong. But I'm pretty sure I'm pretty close on most of this...
Wasshoi is an exclamation that's sort of like when a pirate shouts "Heave Ho!" It's like, a call to work together, or a sort of self-congratulation that your group succeeded
by
working together.
"I'm getting fired up" is "燃えて来た" (moete kita). "Moete" literally means "on fire," and "kita" means "came." Given the context, Takaharu is saying "My 'on fire' came." But because that doesn't make sense, Over-Time translated it to something more colloquial.
Their opening cry is, "Shinobinare domo shinobanai! Shuriken Sentai Ninninjaa!" which literally means "even though we're shinobi (another word for ninja), we don't conceal ourselves! Throwing-Star Squad Ninninger." Over-Time translates it as "the shinboi who don't remain hidden! Etc..."
"No hiding for us, we're running wild," from what I can tell is, "shinobu dokoro ka abareru ze!" This is the one I'm least clear on. I think it literally means "Far from hidden, we're rampaging." (I think? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)
"Hiding doesn't stop party night," is actually, "shinobinare domo Party Night." It literally means "even though I'm a shinobi, it's party night." Shinobi, in addition to being another word for ninja, means "concealed" and/or "hidden." This phrase is sort of a play on words which probably makes it difficult to translate.
