He did this once. He shot people who abused him and the other kids for years, after Orga gave all of them the chance to go. They chose their own fate.

The other time he killed someone was after both agreed in a duel to the death and his opponent begged Mika to kill him.

Of course he’s cold about it, but there’s a reason for that. And that makes him an interesting character as opposed to the whiny ,stupid teenage boys I’ve seen in every other Gundam so far.

And it’s still the first major flaw in the show so far, everything else comes down to personal preference.

Because no matter if you like Mika or not, his behavior is an important part of the show and fully intentional.
