That's a really, really loose comparrison, since all of Wing's Gundams were given new cool-tone colourschemes. Wing Zero became mostly blue, Sandrock became blue and lavender, Altron was already grean but became a darker green, and even deathscythe who was already mostly black was made even more black, and most of it's white parts were turned purple. In fact, all of them had their white parts tinted ever so lightly blue. (especially Sandrock, who no longer looked like it went anywhere near sand or rocks of any kind)

About the only thing they have in common is both being black and red (a typical evil colourscheme) with wings, but they're not even the same shade of red, and they swap primary colours.
Honestly? Wing/G Gundam was the last time I feel like Gundam designs really stood out from each other, except for the radical redesigns like G Reco and Barbatos. Most other Gundams just feel like the same suit with minor variations, only really standing out once you get up close. (And yet Wing/G Gundam are the ones to have the least amount of modern kits made, not counting the EW redesigsn that never showed up in the show itself)
