Even now in its 40s Ninninger just doesn't interested me and even its diehard fans are jumping ship on here. A crying shame too as it had promise and just never lived up to that. If this series and the next kill Sentai it won't come as a surprise to me.

My prediction goes to the dad, actually. My guess is that Kinji succeeds in getting his powers back for him, and he becomes last ninja.

As for the show itself, I'm surprised I like it so much considering what the problems people have with it are. Even though there isn't a ton of plot in the villain department (focusing more on character development and Kinji, but that has been changing lately) it has been doing the monster of the week style episodes really well. I don't mind filler when it's done this well.
