Also, how much CGI do these shows have? Too much CGI in the fights is a big turn-off for me. Part of the reason I've enjoyed Ninninger is because the mech battles are almost entirely practical effects, while I couldn't get into Gokaiger because most of it was CGI.

If you are a sucker for practical effects you need to see Go-Busters. It has its fair share of CGI in its fights but its more used to enhance the practical effects. I'm not a big fan of Go-Busters as a show in and of itself but I dont think Sentai has ever looked better than here.
