the thing is to me his star trek movie did not feel like trek movie they felt more star wars i mean more star wars say what you want about him. he was never trek fan he was always a star wars fan it showed in trek film and now that he started of new trilogy it was awesome

i went to the uk midnight showing with my dad and friend and i left the cinema wanting episode out. i read now that few thing hated of the film are thing i want mention untill later on i say this they played it safe using working formula
that was not broken and told a new story with it but it felt like older star wars film all else it felt lived in it felt like star wars it was stars wars.
