Anyway, ERASED is definitely the stand out series based off the first episode. Interesting premise and a first episode just packed with content. It looks to be very interesting but we'll see how it goes. Impressive start.
On the other hand, Pandora in the Crimson Shell is likely the weakest of what I'm watching. I read the first couple of chapters of the manga (all I could find...) before deciding on watching it. The manga wasn't particularly impressive, and the anime (which more or less covers just those two chapters) certainly isn't, either. Felt something was lost in the adaptation, too...just a couple of the more interesting/funny moments lost their appeal. Animation is lackluster as well. I'm just banking on the possibility of things getting more interesting, because it looks like there
could
be something interesting lurking under the surface. There likely won't be and I'm stuck with some weird ecchi show. Either way...unimpressive start all in all.
Besides those...Divine Gate is ok. Animation isn't quite impressive, character design is very on-the-nose but I don't necessarily mind it. Quite an abundance of hilariously cheesy lines (the water will fill the holes in the ground....BUT IT WONT FILL THE HOLE IN MY HEART) and cliche characters, but eh, I can give it a break. It wasn't a bad start.
Assassination Classroom is still Assassination Classroom. It's inoffensive but I don't really care about it. Really hoping this second season can grab my attention more than the first one did (where it really only grabbed me in the last arc, and even then to a limited degree).
Oshiete! Galko-chan wasn't really what I expected. All things considered, I expected its humor to go in one or two directions. It did kinda indulge in one (sexual humor) to a small degree, but the real focus in the first episode was toilet humor, and a lot of...toilet talk. It caught me off guard, it's weird, and I...don't really mind it, really. It's just talking about pretty off-kilter stuff in a completely straightforward and uncomfortable manner, and that's not something I see a lot. Anyway, wasn't really funny, but it didn't bore me, which is more than I can say about too many short anime. The art really doesn't disappoint, either. Which is good, because it's the only reason I'm watching this in the first place. Good character design, very colorful all around, and quality is consistent throughout. Really like the way this series looks.
Lastly Sekkou Boys, which is nice enough. Funny, weird...not quite as much as I would have expected, but it's only one episode, so I'll give it some time to get weird.
Also, was pleased to find that both Galko-chan and Sekkou Boys are ~8 minutes each. I feared I was gonna get stuck with more shitty two-minute (90 second) anime. Those are pretty uniformly terrible, so...happy about that.
Anyway, this winter shows some potential. Could all easily end up going to shit, but...am optimistic...Except about Ghost Urn, I guess, if I'm being completely honest. As much as I want to hope that gets better I'm probably hoping against fate.
All site were check whst coming out each season says funimation linscened Dagashi kashi but they taking there sweet and time streaming.
So all show I want to watch are by sentai film listened and the big f you me again living in uk is hard trying support legal streaming is hard denfently they now rarely put stuff on crunchyroll now and making Hulu exclusive forcing me to download
