[Kamen Rider Lucha]

This one was alright. Would I have liked more to happen? Sure. But I guess I'm resigned to a lackluster finale, so as long as I can see the characters shine for a few more eps, I'll be happy. Fortunately, the focus on the characters was the strength of this episode, so I won't complain.

Stray Thoughts (and spoilers!):

Gabi Raizou's resurrection was strange, and I'm not sure why he's necessary. I wonder if he'll be around to do anything other than die again.

The cinematography of the "out-of-suit" stuff was really dynamic -- there were some good, long takes, some great movement, and some nice style (especially in the Last Ninja flashback). I'm not used to this level of style and polish from the show's non-action scenes, and it really imparted the feeling of "finale arc gravitas" that maybe the story itself lacked.

Is Kibaoni Gengetsu perhaps the least compelling, most generic sentai big bad in history?
