In the sense that it felt lot of the episode focused on Onari and Akari, while Makoto and Takeru were mostly off held up in their own things, I guess. Yes, important things happened, but...I mean, seriously, does the Himiko thing even really matter that much? At this point, we've had like...10 episodes about the historical figures and getting their Eyecons. At this point of the game it's just not that interesting a development, and it was just a matter of time for Takeru to get it.

It's probably a combination of Akari and Onari being at the forefront, the episode having a now tired collect-the-Eyecon subplot, and the Necrom Specter thing happening pretty early in the episode but not having payoff later that made it kind of feel like filler (it can feel like it and not be, is all I'm saying).

Or I guess maybe I felt like there was fairly little Rider action (just the brief fight between Necrom and Specter at the beginning and the final fight) and I subconsciously measure plot relevance in terms of dudes in suits fighting. That seems likely, now that I think about it.
