That's because Dragon Ball has made them enough money to keep them in business for years. It doesn't mean they don't make stupid ass decisions though. The Dragon Box pricing issue pissed me off.

EDIT: I decided to do the Escaflowne kickstarter and chose The Empress/$300 level.
