That is just it, there really isn't unless they somehow get all of the actors that have some new dialog come in to record it or they find a way to cut out that bit of audio. Either that, or the masters they were given are different from the ones Funimation received, and that they have the edited masters like Bandai used back in 2003. I guess it all comes down to if the UK has access to Ocean Group or not. Do they? I don't know since I'm not sure how the UK operates. Funimation does not.

EDIT: Okay, so the UK versions are going to include both cuts. The uncut director's cuts will be the video you get if you watch the show subbed. If you are watching it dubbed, they are going through and cutting out the additional footage so that the video track matches the audio.
