Hayley Atwell has already said she could do both shows, but ABC and advertisers aren't going to be interested in a series people aren't watching. Most folks are of the opinion that the SHIELD spin-off will take Carter's place. I'd rather have more Peggy, but the general consensus out there is that it isn't a safe bet.

Yeah, but Carter was competing against Flash and iZombie. Not to mention all of the presidential bullshit that has been going on on Tuesdays.
