The writing was better but more and more it feels like this show is now catering to the Sentai footage as opposed to trying to tell a good story.

James (Navarro) leaving is a cop-out to the Sentai footage. Prince Phillip was only brought back so they could use him in THIS episode, and he'll probably not be back until closer to the finale. And finally, Kendall gets in on the action.

Funny part? The fight scenes used were from the Kyoryuger finale.

Dino Supercharge isn't a bad season, it's just not as good as Dino Charge was or as it was being advertised. This is beginning to feel more like Super Megaforce with their "write the story around the Sentai footage" feeling to it as opposed to Dino Charge which used Sentai footage when it benefited the story altogether.

I get that's what they were aiming for - strong beginning and lower budget towards the end to make the footage work - but I don't think it's working in their favor. There's nothing that screams "BUILDING UP TO THE END" currently, and if we do what we have been doing the last 6 years, we'll get something shoe-horned last second to use Sentai footage because Sentai footage.

IE: Sledge comes back as the "Deboss" final monster in Kyoryuger, because they both have green skin.
