I shared my thoughts on it before, they have not changed.

Though I think I may have misconstrued Makoto's statement about Adel turning him into a soldier. Watching it again there's nothing about it really that indicates that means he gave him his Driver. They've been revealing a lot lately, hope they clarify everything soon. Why Makoto got taken out of his body, why Kanon was an Eyecon, why Makoto is a Rider, what was Ryu trying to stop...still a lot we don't know.
