The only difference in the two is the absence of electronics, the addition of diecast metal to the feet, the added wing articulation, and some more premium paint on the Legacy version.

Remove the pricetag when comparing the two and the question is pretty simple - do you want one to work with the Legacy Ninja Megazord and Shogun Megazord, or one to work with the originals?

In my opinion there is always a superior option. In this case the only comparable aspect of the 2, because of their similarity in design, is price. Which gives the original the advantage to me Again, if someone's building a Legacy collection then by all means buy it. But they shouldn't assume it's wholly better than the original toy. There's just hardly any difference.

And there actually are not electronics in the original. The Falconzord was gutted for it's US release. Only the original DX Tsubasamaru from Kakuranger had electronics. The US release cut those for costs. The battery compartment is still there though it's screwed shut. And there's no wiring in the figure.
