[Phantom Stranger]

Well that's certainly a thing. I dunno, it just seem sort of there... I don't have strong feeling towards this one way or the other. Godzilla's design still looks like someone really liked Burning Godzilla and wanted to mix it with the G-virus from Resident Evil. I think they're going for a Hibakusha thing, which makes sense, but I don't care much for the execution. I also still think they're trying way too hard with those teeth. When his mouth is closed it looks fine, pretty damn intimidating. But when it's open? Especially the close up at the beginning- it looks dopey as hell. Like Ojiisan Godzilla lost his denchers and bit into the world's largest cactus.

I do like all the ground level stuff, seeing all the horrible destruction and truly catastrophic results of Godzilla. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of that. Also looks like there's going to be a lot of focus on human drama, even outside of the stuff dealing with Goji. So... yeah. Kinda middling here.
