What a nice episode! I was kinda afraid the Bird Man would become one of the Sentai tropes that I noticed is missing from Zyuohger, a mentor-like figure of the team that gives them their upgrades whenever they need them.

But that's not the case, at all, the Bird Man seems to be an enemy... although I expect that we learn that he has his reasons later on. Which would mean... is Zyuohland actually evil? Like, could this show do something like end the Blood Game halfway throughout the show and introduce a new bad guy that secretly controls Zyuohland? Of maybe the Deathgaliens find their way into Zyuohland and use some dark power sealed there?

Or the Bird Man just hates Zyuohland because he’s a dick. One of those things.

Either way, I'm interested. I like that the uncle had another good moment in this episode, he looked like your typical clown to entertain he children in the first episode but he isn't acting silly all the time thankfully. Onari, you could learn a lot from this dude.

I also liked how Yamato ignored his own feelings about the Eagle Man in order so that the Zyuohman could get the cube back and go home, and he tried to fight alone... which was stupid, but a nice gesture I guess.

And yeah, Zyuoh Wild King looks a lot better as a suit. Even though the minicubes at the side of the legs still don't do a whole lot really.

Next episode seems a bit more comedy focused which I can dig in a show that isn't silly all the time, and maybe this is the time for Tusk's actor to show some acting skills.
