The best way to go at it in my opinion, would be to choose who you wanna make before trying to find a base figure. That way you can save yourself some sculpting or modding work sometimes. Knowing in advance that your character must have wings for example, you can look for a ML figure that already has some.

yeah, about the adding on to existing figures, i intend to cut them down to a sort of frame, then add my parts on. maybe even severing limbs at the joints. i know theres modeling companies out there that sell ball joints cast in clear plastic, but for a first foray i want to build off an existing figure, to get a feel for the process. i cant wait to show you guys what i can do, and if they come out well, maybe ill consider doing commissions. i dont mean to jump the gun, but i am pretty confident in my skill

cyclone joker came today. hes not quite as poseable as Kabuto or Agito, but i can forgive it for that, he is from one of my all time favorite toku. $30 shipped was a badass price as well!
