I'm pissed off because this is, yet again, a region 1-only release.

The worst part of this is when people online view me like I'm the f***ing devil because I've kept my fansubs of Zyuranger, Dairanger and Kakuranger, and are saying "buy a multiregion DVD player" like everyone's got money to throw around to just buy a whole new player. Clearly someone involved with these sets doesn't want me watching them. If they don't want my money, then they don't get it. I'm not apologizing for remaining a filthy pirate. I was in no hurry to see Ohranger anyway.

Also, the notion of people telling other people to buy a series they don't like because it might lead to another one (which they might not like either)... that's weird to me, I don't care how much someone loves Carranger. I felt the same when people were saying to buy Zyuranger even if they didn't like it, because there was a chance Dairanger could happen.

I hate that I'm even saying this stuff and being this down on it all, but I wanted to get it off my chest.

In an ideal world, Toei would be doing what Tsuburaya's been doing with Ultraman and putting it up on Crunchyroll worldwide. I don't even think it'd muddy the waters any in territories where Power Rangers is broadcast.

In closing, by all means support these things if you can and want to, but don't expect everyone in the fandom to think it's a positive.
