Yeah, Kaku is also my second favorite Sentai series.

Anyway, I decided to just start Megaranger tonight and got through the first 7 episodes. This is actually my first time watching the show subbed so it was kind of nice. The opening episodes are still majorly slow though, but there are things I like about, especially the villains. Hineler and Yugande are pretty awesome. The concept behind a video game designed to pick soldiers is kind of dumb though. Like why didn't they pick that Arcade Bully guy since the kids talk about how great he is at the game? Obviously I'm just coming off the high of Kakuranger though, so I might be being a little overly critical because I did enjoy them, just not as much as I was hoping I would now that I'm seeing them subbed. It's still an interesting dynamic despite how dumb it is and the cast is likable even though I don't really think the world should be leaving saving the world in the hands of high schoolers. In the real world, we would all be ****ed.
