The writing isn't quite as over the top as Faiz, but it still carries all the hallmarks of post-Agito Toshiki Inoue and the crapiness that entails (the most annoying being that Kiva has absolutely no traces of Wataru's personality in battle - it's like they're two different characters). It's probably not the worst Rider show ever, but it's a real close contender.

But then I just watched The First and The Next and loved them so much I'm searching for Figuarts of all three Riders. Original incarnations and the retelling versions.
