Despite being all around excellent, I find the mecha fights in Gokaiger to be average to above average at best in comparison (with a few really good gems in between) to the other amazing stuff we get throughout the episodes. This got me thinking, which Super Sentai series would you consider to have the best mecha fights? Name a few if you like, more information is always better.

For me, out of the very few Super Sentai series I've watched, I have to go with Magiranger. The mecha fights in Magiranger were perhaps the most exhilarating and enjoyable I've seen yet in Super Sentai, and in some cases, were even more exciting than the not-too-shabby suited fights. I think it helped that the mecha fights were a big part of the stories, with the Ozus being the mecha themselves, and their mecha combinations being big plot points that were developed over many episodes.
