Whaaaat??? Sideswipe's making customs?!? Well...yes I am, but not quite yet. I'm going to be using this thread to post my custom/scratch built projects, including works in progress. I'll probably end up posting school projects here once school starts back up again as well, since those are going to be scratch built toys.

So, this project is likely going to take several years to complete, but I wanted to do most of the preliminary work over this summer. But this IS something I really want to do.

So, what I'm working on is a scratch built Neku Sakuraba action figure. Luckily, I don't need to do any design sketches, since he's an already existing character, so I'm working on the orthographic views now. Right now I'm just trying to nail down his proportions and how I want him to look, since some parts (especially his limbs) vary in look depending on the artwork.

I now have a T-posed model of his Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance model, which a friend very kindly jumped through hoops to get me, so that'll make this easier.

His proportions are still off, so he's going to take more finagling until I get him just right.
