I'm almost done with Zyuranger. Episode 46. I liked Bandora before, but I like her much more now that the endgame has taken shape and her specific motivations have come to light.

I'm also around episode 36-40 of Gingaman, which has been... okay. I like the villains quite a bit and the cast is okay, but MAN the main story is generic. The individual episodes are okay, but it really depends on which teammate is in the spotlight whether I like it or not. I generally like Gingaman, but it's not in my top 5 or 6 favorites, for sure.

I'm at episode 24 of Abarenger, and I kinda love how wacky the tone of the series gets, when at the same time you have two villains that are anything but - Nakadai / AbareKiller is a terrific evil ranger foil and Jeanne has a really good, emotional arc with Asuka. You contrast that with episodes like the anime character and the baseball player and it's a giant WTF. I like Abaranger, but sometimes I'm really not sure if that contrast works.
